Refund, Cancellation, and Weather Delay Policies

Refund Policy
Lawn DnD is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us within 24 hours upon completion of the service. Refunds or service re-dos will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the issue. Refunds are not provided for results affected by factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, pre-existing lawn conditions, or failure to follow care instructions.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. To cancel or reschedule a service, please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you are a residential customer or at least 30 days' notice if you are a commercial client. Cancellations made outside of these notice guidelines may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled residential service cost and 100% of the scheduled commercial service cost. Repeat last-minute cancellations may also result in suspension of future service eligibility.
Weather Delay Policy
Lawn care and snow removal services are weather-dependent. In the event of inclement weather, services may be delayed or rescheduled to ensure quality and safety. Lawn DnD will notify customers promptly of any changes to the schedule and work to provide a new service date as soon as possible. No additional fees will apply for weather-related rescheduling.
Commercial clients: In the event of inclement weather while service is being performed, maintenance will cease and the full-service amount will be charged.

Guidelines
Watering Requirements Guidelines
Proper watering is essential to achieving the best results from our lawn care services.
Follow these guidelines to ensure your lawn remains healthy and vibrant:
General Watering Tips
- Water deeply but infrequently to encourage deep root growth.
- Aim for 1 to 1.5 inches of water per week, including rainfall.
- Water early in the morning (before 10 AM) to minimize evaporation and reduce the risk of fungal diseases.
Post-Treatment Watering Guidelines
Fertilizer Treatments
- Lightly water the lawn immediately after a fertilizer application unless otherwise instructed.
- Resume regular watering schedules 24-48 hours after treatment.
Pest Control Treatments
- Avoid watering treated areas for at least 24 hours to allow the product to fully absorb.
Seeding or Overseeding
- Keep the soil consistently moist until seeds have germinated (typically 2-3 weeks).
- Water lightly 1-2 times per day as needed to prevent the soil from drying out.
Seasonal Watering Guidelines
Spring Season
- Start watering when the soil begins to dry out after the last frost.
- Gradually increase watering frequency as temperatures rise.
Summer Season
- Water more frequently during hot, dry spells, ensuring the lawn receives 1.5 inches of water per week. Drought conditions will require additional watering.
Fall Season
- Reduce watering as temperatures cool but maintain consistent moisture to support root growth.
Winter Season
- Water is generally unnecessary during dormancy unless there are prolonged periods of dryness.
Additional Notes
- Overwatering can lead to shallow roots, fungal diseases, and nutrient runoff.
- Adjust watering schedules based on soil type, grass variety, and weather conditions.
- Consult with Lawn DnD for customized watering recommendations tailored to your lawn's specific needs.
